At Tarheel Canine, we achieve excellent results, even with severe behavior cases, such as aggression and shyness. Police K9s

Tarheel Canine’s Police K9 Training Program is based on three main principles: Quality, Knowledge, and Service.

We offer Trained K9s in the following areas of concentration

  • Criminal Apprehension (including passive apprehensions, transports, multiple subjects, redirected bites, call-offs, in scenario based situations)
  • Handler Protection, Building Search, Area Search, Scent Discrimination Trailing, Evidence Search, Narcotics Detection, Explosives Detection, SAR (Wilderness/FEMA Urban Disaster/Cadaver Recovery)
  • We also offer sales of green and titled K9s

Sport Dogs

We import high-quality sport competition dogs for PSA, Schutzhund, and Ring Sport.

Tarheel Canine training has been importing high level dogs for sport competition since 1994. Jerry Bradshaw, Training Director of Tarheel Canine has competed in the top levels in Schutzhund, NAPD, & PSA including appearances at numerous championship events.
